What does an altar server do?
• Leads the procession into Church
• Assists the priest and deacon at Mass
• Light candles
• Handles the special items used during Mass
Why be an altar server?
Some reasons are silly…
• You don’t have to sit with your parents at Mass
• You get a front row seat
• You’ll look really cool in that white robe
But seriously and more importantly you will
• make a difference by performing an important ministry
• become a leader in our parish
• learn more about Mass and it will mean more to you
• be led to a deeper relationship with God
