Monthly Obligations:
One Mass and One Session per month. The first Sunday of each month will feature a High School Hosted Mass at 6:00 PM. On the 3rd Wednesday of every month (Sept.-May) there will be a Faith Formation Session from 7:00-8:30 PM.
Hosted Mass: At these Masses, a rotation of students will sign up for one of the following roles in the Mass.
-Lector
-Altar Server
-Gift Bearer
-Greeter
Faith Formation Session: On the 3rd Wednesday (7:00-8:30 PM) of every month students will come together to learn about their faith and put that same faith into practice through service. Service Projects will play an important role in the sessions with an emphasis on serving those in our community, town and country. The Program is focused on the 4 Principles of Catholic Social Teaching: The Dignity of the Human Person(Personhood), The Common Good, Subsidiarity, Solidarity. The program will cycle through each of the four principles on a yearly basis.
-School Year 2024/25 (Dignity of the Human Person)
-School Year 2025/26 (The Common Good)
-School Year 2026/27 (Subsidiarity)
-School Year 2027/28 (Solidarity)
Service: The driving force behind this program is service. Using the Corporal Works of Mercy as a guide, we will cooperate with various organizations to perform service to others. Each year we will do the following:
-Feed the Hungry
-Give drink to the thirsty
-Shelter the homeless
-Clothe the naked
-Visit the sick
-Visit the imprisoned
-Bury the dead
