- After the final blessing and dismissal, you will be dismissed by an usher, pew-by-pew; please follow their direction for social distancing.
- With regard to our weekly collection, we appreciate your continued donations online. A collection box will be placed at the door as you enter church if you wish to use an envelope.
- The Cardinal’s dispensation from Sunday Mass is still in effect. You are invited to watch our Facebook livestream Mass at 9:30am. It will be uploaded to our YouTube Channel shortly after (SJB Tinley Park).
Safety Guidelines
These safety precautions should be observed at all times:
- If you are not feeling well we ask that you stay home.
- Upon arriving to church, a greeter will dispense hand sanitizer to you at the entrance.
- Masks are a must for your safety and those in the building with you. They must be worn properly over the nose and mouth.
- If you are not able to keep your mask in place for the duration of Mass, we ask that you continue to participate in the Liturgy from home.
- Our ushers will guide you to a proper seat location. Households may sit together but must be six feet from the next person.
- If you have attended large gatherings in the last week where safety precautions have not been taken, we ask that you take a week off from Mass in person and participate via Facebook or YouTube.
- We appreciate your help in keeping everyone safe and healthy. Our goal is to be able to continue celebrating Mass in person. Everyone working together will go a long way!
We Love Volunteers!
As we continue to add Masses, we need your help. We cannot do without our wonderful volunteers. We also don’t feel it’s right to ask the same people to serve at multiple Masses each weekend.
Can you help? ALL AGES ARE WELCOME!
If you would like to volunteer to assist the Reopen Team, please email Deacon Ed at [email protected] or [email protected]
God bless,

Young Adult Gathering – September 27
When: This Sunday September 27 at 12:30pm.
Location: Devine Center Parking Lot
Pope Francis says, “The Church needs you, your enthusiasm, your creativity and the joy that is so characteristic of you!” Well, St. Julie parish is forming a young adult group seeking to promote faith, fellowship, and spiritual growth with one another while glorifying the Lord in all we do. We meet once a month. Last month, Carl and Jenny shared their awesome story about the value of marriage and faithful relationships. The topic for this month is God’s Will in Our Lives.

CONFIRMATION CLASS 2020
Congratulations and Blessing to the confirmation class of 2020. Bishop Louis Tylka, Jr (Diocese of Peoria) celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation for the class of 2020 on Saturday, August 8, 2020. We continue to pray for the students, that they will open their minds and hearts to the gifts of the Holy Spirit throughout their lives.
“In the Roman Rite the bishop extends his hands over the whole group of the confirmands. Since the time of the apostles this gesture has signified the gift of the Spirit. The bishop invokes the outpouring of the Spirit in these words:
All-powerful God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
by water and the Holy Spirit
you freed your sons and daughters from sin
and gave them new life.
Send your Holy Spirit upon them
to be their helper and guide.
Give them the spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the spirit of right judgment and courage,
the spirit of knowledge and reverence.
Fill them with the spirit of wonder and awe in your presence.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.” ccc 1299
