Parents have an awesome responsibility of bringing their children to Christ. Baptism, the first Sacrament of the Church, initiates us into the Body of Christ…into His Life, Death and Resurrection. To assist with that task, we offer a Baptism Preparation Class for first time parents who wish to have their child Baptized. Some of the topics discussed in the class are the meaning behind the symbols and rituals of Baptism, the role of godparents and the responsibility of parents in bringing up their children in the Faith. Baptism Preparation sessions take place on Sundays (ordinarily the first Sunday of the month). Registration is requested so that we can be prepared to welcome you.
Baptisms are usually celebrated twice a month, with one held on a Sunday and the other on a Saturday.
They can also be celebrated during a Sunday Mass.
