Young Adult Frassati Fellowship

YA Frassati Fellowship

Our Vision

To have an actively visible Catholic young adult group in the community, who shares its spirituality through living out the Gospel and is committed to serving God and their neighbors.

Our Mission

Help young adults become disciples of Jesus Christ, cultivate more involvement in His Church, and connect with peers to walk together on the pilgrimage to Sainthood.

Our Patron

Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati led an amazing life. Dubbed by Saint Pope John Paul II, "The Man of the Beatitudes", Bl. Pier Giorgio guides us towards Christ as a beautiful example of how saints come in all shapes and backgrounds. Pier Giorgio Frassati was a handsome, fun-loving, athletic, courageous and devout Catholic born into a prominent Italian family. He died too soon at just 24 but has since become the model for lay people - and future popes! - all over the world.

The Three Pillars of Bl. Pier Giorgio's Life

  • Faith: Would receive the Eucharist everyday and invited friends to church.
  • Service: Was always sacrificing the pleasures of life to give to the poor
  • Social: Would go on hikes/mountain climb and goof around with friends

Courage to Be Great

Heavenly Father,

Give me the courage to strive for the highest goals,

to flee every temptation to be mediocre.

Enable me to aspire to greatness, as Pier Giorgio did,

and to open my heart with joy to Your call to holiness.

Free me from the fear of failure.

I want to be, Lord, firmly and forever united to You.

Grant me the graces I ask You through Pier Giorgio's intercession,

by the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.
