As Catholics we are asked to support our faith through the giving of our time, talent and treasures. We give of our time in volunteering and supporting the ministries of our parish. We use our talents to further the ministry of our parish. We share our treasures in providing the financial resources our parish needs to spread the Word of Christ, through our many ministries.
There are numerous ways you can share your treasures with St. Julie Billiart Parish.
The first and the one that provides our largest financial support is the Weekly Collection. You can give using your envelopes, placed in the collection basket. You can also give electronically through Pushpay. It is easy to sign up. Just click on the link or logo above and follow the instructions. If you have any questions or problems during sign up you can always contact the Parish Office, 708-429-6767.
There are various other collections throughout the year, the two largest being Christmas and Easter, which enable you to share your treasures with St. Julie Billiart Parish.
In addition to collections there are numerous events throughout the year that occur as a means to provide financial support to our parish. Not only are you contributing to the parish financially, but hopefully you are also having some fun while contributing. See below for more information.
The parish holds a monthly Bingo in our Devine Center. Bingo is held the third Sunday of every month and begins at 12:45PM. In addition to 10 regular games, there are 5 early bird games and a jackpot/lucky 13 game.
The parish has a monthly 50/50 raffle. For $5, which you place in an orange envelope, you are entered into the monthly drawing. The drawing is held the last Monday of every month. The parish and winner split the total amount collected during the month 50/50.
The parish has an annual Bonanza Raffle. There are 3 prizes awarded. In the past it has been $10,000 to the winner, $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for third place (these amounts are subject to change). The drawing is held on Thanksgiving morning after Mass. This coincides with the annual celebration of the anniversary of our parish.
One of our biggest events of the year is the Taste of St. Julie! The Taste takes place on a Saturday night in August and features a number of food booths as well as beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic and raffles. There are also activities for the kids. This is an event for the entire family with food, fun and entertainment. There is also music provided by a local and very entertaining band. Proceeds from this event are used to support the many ministries of our parish.
Other events that are on the parish calendar are fish fry’s, Fall Fest and a Dueling piano’s event.
Watch the parish calendar and website for other events that may occur throughout the year as well as for the dates and times of the events previously mentioned.

The monthly raffle kicked off in January 2022. It provides a fun and convenient way for anyone to support the ministry of St. Julie Parish.
Here is a picture of our pre-printed raffle envelope, available at the Parish Office or Church Narthex
IMPORTANT details about the raffle:
Must be 18 years old to participate.
$5 per entry (Entries must be submitted in our preprinted salmon colored envelopes only, with contact information filled out completely on the blank lines provided.)
No limit to the number of entries per person per month, but each $5 entry must be submitted in a separate envelope (Any amount in a single envelope that exceeds $5 will automatically be considered a donation to the general fund, and that envelope will still be considered a single entry.)
Drawings will be held once a month, on the last Monday of each month (When Monday is a holiday, drawing will take place on Tuesday.)
Winner of each monthly drawing will receive half of the funds received that month via a check from the parish. (No cash will be handed out.)
All entry dollars received within the current month will always be included in the current monthly drawing. (For those who receive monthly envelope packets: The name of the month is also preprinted on your raffle envelopes due to a printer requirement, but we will disregard this date and include your entry during the month it is submitted.)
We cannot accommodate any special instructions, regardless of any notes a participant may write on the envelope. (For example, we will not hold funds for a future month’s drawing.)
50-50 Raffle entry dollars are not considered a donation for tax purposes and are not tax deductible. (These entry dollars, therefore, are not entered into our parish database and will not be included in end of the year tax statements.)
Please do not apply tape, stickers, return address labels, etc. to the envelope for any reason.
