Family Formation Vision

The family, or domestic church, is at the core of our Faith. Family Formation at St. Julie seeks to reinvigorate the practice of the Catholic Faith through education, fellowship, and service. We believe that parents are the first, and best, teachers of the Faith. We hope to provide parents with easy and relatable ways to engage their children in the Faith!

  • Once a month sessions

  • Choice of Monday or Wednesday Session (6:00-7:30PM)

  • At least one parent/guardian must attend session

Monthly Content

We have a 2 year cycle of content. This allows for building and learning the Faith and moves away from memorization. Each year we strive to incorporate Theology, Service, and Christian Fellowship to every session.

Purpose and Use

Pat Kmak lived a life dedicated to the faith formation of generations of disciples. She never stopped growing in her faith and encouraging others to do the same. As a reflection of Pat, The Pat Kmak Endowment Fund will be used in the parish’s formation of disciples at all stages of life. It will provide financial support to parishioners for religious education, provide resources for the catechesis of the faithful, and help to provide the parish community with formation opportunities.

  • Financial Aid: Families who demonstrate financial need or qualify for scholarship.
  • Catechist Resources: Teaching the Catholic Faith requires educational tools.
  • Mission Trips: Our faith calls us to go out, and serve others
  • Pilgrimage/Retreats: It is spiritually healthy and essential for us to go on retreat and see our faith in the greater world.
  • Faith Formation Events: Gatherings and events bring the faith community together and help us grow closer to God in community.
